U of M Women’s Gymnastics Practice Facility
RTL Construction partnered with Mortenson Construction on the University of Minnesota Women’s Gymnastics Practice Facility, a new 18,800 square foot standalone building within the university’s Athletes Village. RTL provided exterior light gauge framing and sheathing, along with full interior drywall assemblies throughout the training facility. Scope included walls, ceilings, soffits, and installation of hollow metal frames, as well as Level 4 finishes with Level 5 finishes at feature graphic areas. The facility includes gym space, locker rooms, training areas, and support spaces, requiring durable, high-performance wall systems coordinated with complex structural and building systems.
